Ment-Art is an innovative program aimed at empowering professional women in the fields of arts, crafts, and cultural heritage within creative communities across Europe, specifically in Italy, Greece, Croatia, and Spain. The implementation of the Ment-Art project is carried out in partnership with the following organizations: Associazione Culturale “Stanza 101” from Italy, INSTITOUTO EREFNAS KAI THERAPIAS TIS SIMPERIFORAS from Greece, Otvoreni Keramike Studio from Croatia, and Asociación Espacio Geranios para el Emprendimiento Social from Spain. Over a 14-month period, Ment-Art seeks to develop a comprehensive empowerment program that promotes mental health and well-being among women. This will be achieved through the co-design of a methodological framework based on identifying and transferring best practices. The framework will focus on delivering high-quality training to improve personal and collective well-being, enhance artistic and creative skills, develop entrepreneurial competencies, and expand employability prospects. Ment-Art primarily targets a diverse group of adult women with varying backgrounds and life experiences, all sharing a common identity as practitioners in arts, crafts, and cultural heritage. Special attention will be given to women facing challenges related to mental health and well-being, fostering a supportive environment for their growth. The implementation of Ment-Art aims to equip professional women in the arts with the tools to create an online platform that serves as a resource hub, fostering connection and knowledge exchange. This platform will act as a supportive and collaborative community, providing a more inclusive and nurturing environment for women professionals in the cultural sector. Additionally, Ment-Art’s focus on skill development, entrepreneurship, and community building has the potential to create a ripple effect, benefiting not only the participating women but also creative communities, the general public, and future users of organizations that adopt the methodology.
