MENT-ART: A3 Meeting, In-Person Meeting – Training the Trainers – Zagreb

From March 24 to 26, 2025, Zagreb became the gathering place for our Ment-Art team as we came together for an inspiring and energizing in-person meeting. For many of us, this was the first time meeting face-to-face, and for others, the first time setting foot in this city—adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience. The local hosts, Milenka and Ivana from Otvoreni Studio Keramike, welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, setting the stage for three days of meaningful discussions, creative collaboration, and shared growth.

We were joined by incredible collaborators from across Europe: Isabel and Erika from Espacio Geranios in Spain, Marika and Chiara from Stanza 101 in Italy, and Foteini and George from IBRT in Greece. Together, we focused on refining the Ment-Art online course—the very program you might like to be part of!—ensuring it aligns with our shared values and vision of learning, creativity, and collaboration.

Our days were filled with dynamic exchanges, starting with an engaging activity that set a co-creative tone. We delved deep into our online course materials, exchanging feedback, fine-tuning content, and aligning on the next steps. The energy in the room was palpable, as ideas flowed freely and a true spirit of co-creation took shape.

But our time in Zagreb wasn’t just about work. We also took moments to connect beyond the meeting space. Over shared meals, we enjoyed local flavors while engaging in rich conversations that strengthened our bonds. A visit to the Museum of Broken Relationships sparked thoughtful reflections on storytelling and the emotional depth that fuels artistic expression.

One highlight of the experience was a short active meditation session that allowed us to center ourselves and tap into our creativity with renewed clarity. This was followed by a collaborative clay session—an opportunity to work with our hands, shape ideas into tangible forms, and experience a collaborative creative process in a truly hands-on way.

As the meeting progressed, we co-designed the upcoming in-person sessions that will take place simultaneously in Zagreb, Rome, and Madrid, covering topics of Communication and Marketing, Self-care and Entrepreneurial skills. By the end of our time together, we had not only met our goals but had also deepened our connections as a team, reinforcing the spirit of mutual respect and shared purpose that defines Ment-Art.

Looking back, these three days in Zagreb were intense, rewarding, and deeply inspiring. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed their ideas, energy, and passion. This meeting was a significant step forward, and we are eager for the journey ahead.

To all the team: thank you (or should we say hvala, gracias, ευχαριστώ, grazie!) for making this experience so special. Let’s carry this momentum forward and continue shaping something meaningful together!
