La Corriente is a cooperative in Madrid that sells 100% renewable electric energy and, within the social and solidarity economy, is committed to a sustainable and fair energy model. Electricity supply is an indispensable service, yet its management is restricted by economic control mechanisms. In the electric energy cooperative La Corriente, we came to understand that the only strength that the markets recognize us is our consumption; therefore, we decided to transform our electric supply through a consumption committed to renewable energies.
