Launch of the project «Social Entrepreneurship as enabler of social inclusion» (SESI)

As part of the Erasmus + Key Action 2 program, we have started the launch of the project «Social Entrepreneurship as enabler of social inclusion» (SESI), in partnership with the organizations YouthProActiv from Belgium, AIDE from Romania and Fundacja reGeneacja from Poland.

This project, with a duration of 31 months, has the following specific objectives:

  • Set up strategic and sustainable partnership to learn about and promote social entrepreneurship as an inclusion enabler for youngsters with disadvantaged backgrounds by collecting and sharing best practices.

  • Develop a blended and replicable training programme which can provide know-how and resources to youth workers on how to teach social entrepreneurship to young people.

  • Build capacity for rural and disadvantaged young people to start social projects through interaction and collaboration with youth workers and experts, promoting active citizenship, young people’s sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship including social entrepreneurship.

  • Disseminate and promote a model of training which defines “social entrepreneurship as a driver of social inclusion” and benefits youth workers and young people alike, to be upheld at a policy-level.

Social Entrepreneurship as enabler of social inclusion (SESI)

Through joint and multilevel work, we hope to contribute to the strengthening of social entrepreneurship as a mechanism for inclusion and social innovation at local, national and international levels.

Within Social Entrepreneurship as enabler of social inclusion (SESI), we had the opportunity to participate in the kick-off session in Brussels from March 29-31, 2023, where we were able to consolidate and coordinate with our partner organizations the common strategy, objectives and next steps. We started with great expectations and enthusiasm to prepare the co-design sessions,  which will take place on April 17th and 18th, to set up a strategic and sustainable partnership to learn about and promote social entrepreneurship as an inclusion enabler for youngsters with disadvantaged backgrounds by collecting and sharing best practices.
